Information sources
We separate official services, consulates, city places, and communities. Links point to original sources, with verification dates where available.
Sources we use
Official and primary
Government, consular, airport and bank websites, together with documents they publish, are the primary sources for rules, deadlines and requirements.
Provider pages
Service, transport and telecom conditions are checked against the provider’s official website or help centre.
Community material
Forum posts and personal experience help surface questions, but remain labelled as user-generated content and are not treated as verified facts on their own.
How editorial content is published
- Define the practical question and the location the answer applies to.
- Find a primary source and cross-check important conditions with another official source when possible.
- Separate verified facts from advice and community experience.
- Publish source links, a last-verified date and relevant limitations.
What the dates mean
Published means when the material first appeared. Last verified means that links and key claims were checked again. Updated changes only after a meaningful editorial change; dates are not moved simply to appear fresh in search.
Editorial content and the forum
Guides and published news receive editorial review. Forum posts contain user opinions and experience. Site content is informational and does not replace official, legal, medical or financial advice.
Automation and AI
Tools may assist with structure, duplicate detection and translation. Published factual guides must still provide reviewable sources, a clear scope and a verification date. AI does not turn a forum post into an official fact.
How to report an error
Include the page URL, the disputed claim and, where possible, an official supporting source. We will review the report and correct the page; we do not silently change its meaning merely to display a newer date.
Report a factual error
